Gen. G has carried over the momentum they gained this year to win VCT Pacific Stage 2 by defeating DRX by 3-1. It is the third title of the year for the team after they won Pacific Kickoff and Masters Shanghai.
After winning, the IGL Munchkin thanked the whole team and staff and said, "Guys, we only have one more left. Let's keep it up and get that one last trophy of the year."

He also became the MVP of the Grand Finals with his incredible performance and crucial clutches throughout the series. Talking about his fragging capability as an IGL Munchkin said, "IGL or not, if you are a Valorant player, then you definitely need to shoot... I think it's a pety excuse if you say you are performing drops when you take the IGLing role. It shouldn't be an excuse to anyone."
The young DRX core carried over their momentum from the Lower Grand Final against PRX and started off with a map win against Gen.G. They were able to secure an easy win on Gen. G's pick, Haven, by 13-6. The next two maps, Bind and Lotus, were the closest of all in the series, as they both went overtime.
Gen. G ended up winning the longest map of the series, Bind, by 18-16 and the third map, Lotus, also went their way with the score of 14-12, putting them on the series point. Even though DRX got off to a good start on Icebox by winning the first two rounds and also, bonus against the opponents, Gen. G didn't give them a chance to contest for the rest of the map.
It was a piece of cake for them as they won the map by a comfortable score of 13-6 and the VCT Pacific Stage 2 Grand Final by 3-1.
You will witness Gen. G battling for Valorant Champions title in their home country, South Korea and you will be able to watch them in action on Twitch and YouTube or in-person.
