Stormgate Early Access Release Date Window

At the time of writing, Stormgate does not have an official release date. However, we can say that the Closed Beta kicked off in December 2023, and it's been getting insanely good feedback.

Stormgate does have an Early Access release date window of "Summer 2024." That's between 20 June and 22 September 2024, in case you were wondering.

What is Stormgate?

As a fan of the Starcraft and Warcraft franchises, Stormgate makes me drool uncontrollably. Developed by Frost Giant Studios, Stormgate is a real-time strategy (RTS) title that looks like the spiritual successor to Starcraft 2, mixed with Warcraft elements and maybe even a bit of Command and Conquer thrown into the mix.

In fact, the development team does include those who have worked on both Starcraft 2 and Warcraft 3. The game is also free-to-play but not pay-to-win, in case you are wondering...

Explore an ever-evolving story through thrilling campaign missions where science fiction and fantasy collide—solo or cooperatively. Battle opponents around the world on our competitive 1v1 ladder. It is 100% a next-gen title built on the Unreal Engine 5, allowing for thousands of units on the screen at the same time. Stormgate is set in a new science fantasy universe where players command mechs and defend Earth from an invasion of "Infernals."  Command mechs to defend the Earth or invade it as the Infernals.
