Star Wars Andor – Episode List And Runtimes

September is expected to be a busy month for the streaming platform, Disney+, with several films and television projects hitting the platform. This will coincide with Disney Plus Day, set for 8th September 2022, with several updates and announcements across its subsidiaries, including Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm.

Speaking of the latter, they'll be releasing its much-anticipated series, Andor, for the streaming platform after it was delayed early last month. We've detailed when Andor premieres on Disney+, its episode list, runtimes, and more without providing too many spoilers.

Star Wars Andor – Release Date And Episode List

The upcoming Star Wars series, Andor, was initially intended to premiere on Disney+ on 31st August 2022 before its delay was announced, possibly not to clash again with a Marvel Studios series. It got pushed, nevertheless, back by an entire month to avoid it clashing with HBO's House of the Dragon and Amazon Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Rebels can start watching the journey of Cassian Andor starting on 21st September 2022, with episodes available every Wednesday following its premiere. Additionally, the show's first three episodes will release on the date mentioned above, with episode four available the following week.

The series is set during the formation of the Rebel Alliance after the prequel trilogy and overlapping events of the original trilogy. Audiences can witness the rise of Andor from thief to revolutionary and eventually as a Rebel across the show's 12 episodes.

Star Wars Andor – Episode Runtimes

This series officially has the most episodes for a live-action Star Wars project for Disney+, having double the episodes from Obi-Wan Kenobi and four more than The Mandalorian. As mentioned, the first three episodes are dropping on 21st September 2022; its lead star, Diego Luna, stated in a recent interview that collectively it would run around two hours.

As for the remaining episodes, the running times for each episode are likely around 35-40 minutes. This is because the first three episodes collectively run around two hours total, meaning the three episodes are approximately 35-40 minutes long.

Andor is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on 21st September 2022, with new episodes streaming every Wednesday at 12 am PT / 3 am ET.
