Developer Massive Entertainment has provided yet another update on the back of the recent shift in plans for the galactic action-adventure game Star Wars Outlaws. While it's confirmed in the first official roadmap for the game that players can anticipate two story expansions post-launch, there are also a few "Title Updates" incoming, which both are arriving next month.
This was announced in a social media post that confirms what was outlined in Ubisoft's latest "financial targets" report for 2024–2025, which Massive Entertainment has "fully mobilized to swiftly implement a series of updates to polish and improve the player experience." As such, these updates will address multiple bug issues impacting gameplay by providing Quality-of-Life (QoL) improvements and important optimizations ahead of the game's Steam launch this November.
Two "Title Updates" are heading our way, Scoundrels, bringing much-needed bug fixes, adjustments, optimizations, and more to the galactic action-adventure game. According to a statement from the game's developer, "Our team is currently working hard to address your feedback and deliver new content," which is coming within the next few weeks ahead of its Steam launch and "the release of our first story pack," the Wild Card DLC on 21st November 2024.
The first of these updates, "Title Update 2," will be deployed to consoles and PCs on 3rd October 2024, adding important bug fixes and possible gameplay improvements based on player "feedback and experience" the game's developer had received post-launch. The subsequent update, "Title Update 3," which is currently dated for release on 24th October 2024, it looks to Star Wars Outlaws' overall health and stability by bringing more QoL improvements, which should make our "adventures smoother."
