The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion: All New Items, Lots, Features

The Sims 4 players have a new batch of content on the way with the launch of the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack. This new DLC adds in content inspired by the American West, including ranch-themed items and horses. The expansion will let Sims raise up horses, train and form bonds with them. 

In addition, Sims will get the chance to experience the hard-work involved in working on a ranch. This includes mucking a Horse Bed, keeping animals happy and clean, and harvesting Prairie Grass to ensure eveyone stays fed.  As the work builds up, Sims can even hire a Ranch Hand to help keep things running. The Horse Ranch expansion will also feature new skills, such as Riding, and new social events to attend. Below, we'll list all of the new content making its way into this latest expansion.

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Lots

Players can expect to see two new Lot Assignments as part of this new expansion:

• Dance hall
• Equestrian park

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Skills

There are five new skills to acquire and master in the Horse Ranch expansion, including four exclusive to horses:

• Riding
• Temperament (horses)
• Agility (horses)
• Jumping (horses)
• Endurance (horses)

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack will launch on July 20, 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via EA app for Windows, Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store. Players who purchase the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack anytime from June 22 to August 31, will also receive access to the Rockin’ Rancher Digital Content, including a resonator guitar, wagon wheel art and rustic rocking chair.
