How To Complete ERLC Murder Mystery Quest 2024

ERLC Halloween update 2024 is here with the latest edition of Murder Mystery quest. Your goal will be to catch the killer of the popular archeologist, who was found dead. You will be able to investigate like a detective, solve puzzle, and do much more. Here is how you can start the ERLC Murder Myster quest 2024 and complete it.

ERLC Murder Mystery Quest 2024: How To Complete

The very first thing that you need to do is go to the Menu by clicking on the "☰" button on the top right side of your screen and select Sheriff or Police. Next go out of the office and talk to Detective Serious.

Locate The Body

He will give you the first task, which is to locate the body of the archeologist. Go to the location marked on your map and Inspect to reveal the footsteps. 

As the footsteps end in the tunnel, go a bit forward and you will find the body, along with a driver's license. Inspect and click on the address on it to get your next task i.e. to Investigate Victim's House in order to find the next clue, a journal.

You can check out what clue you need to find by clicking on the Notes button on the top right side of your screen.

Investigate Victim's House

Once you reach the next marked area on the map, go to the room with fireplace and you will find the journal on the kitchen's shelf.

A lot of players are getting stuck here and so did we, as nothing was happening after reading the journal. The thing is, you will find you pick up Tabloid from the table near the Kitchen Shelf and then read the journal to proceed further.

Go To The Construction Site

This is the next task that you will get and again, go to the new marked location on the map.

You will have to find a note from the killer that is hidden next to the blue colored Police Line barricades. 

Go To Theater In Springfield

Once you reach the Theater in Springfield, you will be asked to investigate Theater #1 and your goal is to find Shipping Receipt.

Enter Theater #1 inside the cinema and you will find the receipt on the floor on the left side of the screen.

Investigate Warehouse

Go to the warehouse located at the next marked location to find a Blueprint.

Enter the warehouse and grab the keys behind the desk right in front of you. Now, look left and use the keys to open the Office. Make sure to use your flashlight to navigate.

Now, grab the Security Code from the desk next to the ladders across the room. Note down the code that you get, for us it was 0117.

Go out of the room and enter the Security Room to grab the keys from the table across the room. 

Use these keys to open the Warehouse room on the left side of the Security Room.

Once you enter the Warehouse, follow the left lane and keep going until you find a bunch of big boxes. Go through them to grab the lighter.

Now go back to the starting position in the room and take the middle lane and on your right side, you will see oil spilled. Use the lighter to ignite it.

Take a left after that and you will see a golden key highlighted with a torch. Grab it by taking a right, then left, and then left again.

Now, go back to the left lane again and on the left side of the big boxes, you will see a Forklift that you can use with this key.

The Forklift will move automatically and after that, simply go near it and use it. Go to the new path that opened up. Take a right after reaching the end and stick to the left side. You will get an option to crawl.

After a small cutscene, you will see stairs in front of you. Go up there and enter the room. Next, enter the room inside that room that you will find on the right side. Once inside, go across the room and take a left from the water coolers. You will find keys on the desk on the right side of the ladder that you see.

Grab them to open the utility door on the left side of the entrance of the room. Once you are inside, grab the Final Office Key from the left side on the shelf.

Go back to the room where you found the Utility Door keys and enter the Final Room from the ride side of the ladders. Take a left after entering the room and you will find Blueprint on the table.

Close the Blueprint by pressing any key and go downstairs from where you came after the cutscene. After going down the stairs, take a right and behind the stairs you will see a fire exit. Use it to go out.

Investigate The Fountain

Go to the next marked location and once you reach the fountain, turn the valve at all corners to stop the water flow.

The bottom part of the fountain will appear and you can pick up the Tabloid from the altar.

Investigate Car Crash

After a few seconds, you will get a notification to Investigate Car Crash. Head to the location.

Go near the crashed car and investigate the license plate. Click on View Owner and then on the address. 

Investigate Killer's House

Go to the Killer's House marked as Suspicious House on the map. Move straight and take a left to enter the bedroom and crack the safe by playing a minigame.

You will have to stop the wheel at the given number within the given time limit to open it. You will get two attempts at once and you will have to hit the correct number 4 or 5 times. 

After opening the safe, take the note and go back to the lobby and use the password on the note to open the laptop.

Speak To Bayou Bill At The Lake

Go to the lake and talk to Bayou Bill to get the next task.

Fish Out The Object In The Lake

Take the fishing rod from the container on the left side of Bayou's shop. Use it to fish in the lake and catch a note.

Go To The Farm

Once you reach the farm, you will see a grave opposite to its entrance. Go there to pick up another note.

Go To The Cave & Find The Lair

This is the final step of the Murder Mystery Quest 2024. Go to the cave right where you found the body. However, this time, keep moving forward and pick up the pickaxe and go near the door in front of you.

To open the door, you will need to solve the puzzle on its right side. To do this, open the Tabloid tab by going to the Clues section.

Now, rotate each tile on the puzzle to ressemble the images shown on the Tabloid.

After the door opens, you will see the killer; however, he will ask you to split the treasure if you help him escape. You will then get two options—to accept the treasure split or put him behind the bars. The choice now is yours!

You can complete the quest again to obtain the second ending as well, so you are not losing any rewards.
