Ahead of the opening today, Pokemon UK shared a photo of the inside of the Pokemon Center London store with rows and rows of neat plush toys on display and very English Pikachu decals on the walls. Those looking to purchase a plush of the Pikachu can expect to find him in-store for £20.
We were going to hold out until tomorrow to show you these… but the store looks SO GOOD we just had to share! ✨ #PokemonCenterLondon pic.twitter.com/umXJ0olomc

Many keen Pokemon fans arrived this morning but still had to wait for hours to get inside. A queue extended out of the shopping centre as more fans arrived before it was cut off early this afternoon.
As of 13:00 BST, fans were still loyally stood in the queue nine hours later for their chance.
While this store will be open until 15th November, some stock is already limited and large plushes are apparently sold out.
There is no information as to when certain items will restock, but we can expect further waves of items to be released back onto the shelves across the next four weeks. Limits on sales have been introduced to try give as many people a chance of buying items they would like as possible throughout October and November.
So with a nine hour queue and some stock already limited, it looks like I'll need to come back another day... :( #pokemoncentrelondon pic.twitter.com/lZdCgkXHQk

Scalpers have already listed many items on resale websites such as eBay at inflated prices. The previously mentioned £20 London City Pikachu plush can be found for up to £200 by some looking to take advantage of the demand. Other items such as playmats, stickers, socks and even the plastic bag are being resold at high prices.
If you are hoping to head down to Westfield to buy some Pokémon merch, getting there early will likely be a must. This will also give the best chance of snagging some of the big plush toys that tend to sell out quickest and are resold with the highest markups.
The Pokémon Center London will be open from 18th October - 15th November at Westfield London shopping centre.
