Plus fans will want to know if their favorites are returning. For example, Vulpix is a fan-favorite Pokemon and has returned to Scarlet and Violet. But can players catch Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Is Alolan Vulpix In The Teal Mask DLC?

In The Teal Mask, there's a lot of Pokemon that were added to the game. Most notably, there are a lot of returning Pokemon. One of which is Vulpix, introduced in Gen 1. In The Teal Mask, players can actually find a normal Vulpix quite easily. But is it possible to get Alolan Vulpix through the new DLC?

The answer is yes and no. No, players cannot catch Alolan Vulpix in Scarlet and Violet through The New Teal Mask DLC. There are also no fixed encounters where players can obtain Alolan Vulpix either. But yes, players can transfer Alolan Vulpix to Scarlet and Violet. So even though players can't catch an Alolan Vulpix naturally in The Teal Mask, they can bring one to Scarlet and Violet through other games.

How To Transfer Alolan Vulpix Into Scarlet And Violet

There are a couple of different ways that players can obtain Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The simplest method is to trade with another player who already has an Alolan Vulpix,  Either through contacting a friend or through an online board like Reddit. But if players want to do it themselves, they need to have Pokemon Home to get Alolan Vulpix.

Pokemon Home is an online service that allows players to transfer Pokemon between multiple games. So players can catch Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Legends Arceus or Pokemon Sword and Sheild and then transfer it to Scarlet and Violet. Players can also use the GTS system to trade for Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Home as well.
