Players will need to explore the new areas found within The Indigo Disk DLC in hopes of tracking down these Pokémon and adding them to their Pokédex. 

Making a return in The Indigo Disk DLC is the legendary Pokémon Rayquaza. This powerful Pokémon can be encountered and captured only if you know where to look. This article will cover everything you need to know about how to find and catch Rayquaza in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC. 

How To Catch Rayquaza In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet The Indigo Disk DLC

Rayquaza can be found by first obtaining the item called the "Rayquaza Treat." This item is available after having completed the main The Indigo Disk DLC storyline at least once. After this, players will gain access to a post-game NPC known as Snacksworth. He can be found at the Blueberry Academy entrance and will be the conduit on your quest to collect all of the returning legendary Pokémon. 

By completing Blueberry Quests either Solo or as a group, Snacksworth will reward you with various Treats. These are random, so you will have to continue completing quests until you receive the one you want. 

Once you have the item you need in hand, Rayquaza can be found around the Great Crater of Paldea on top of the mountains near Area Zero.
