Can You Get Shiny Dialga From Tera Raids In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?

With the latest trailer for the next DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there is a newfound excitement for these two games. New Pokemon and new stories will launch with The Indigo Disk DLC but before that happens, the launch of some new raids has become available for players to challenge.

It is not a 7-Star raid but even though that is the case, players are ready to challenge this new raid. That is because the raid features the two Legendary Pokemon, Dialga and Palkia. Here, we are going to go over whether players can catch a Shiny Dialga during these event raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Can Dialga Be Shiny During The Event Raids In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?

Unfortunately, Dialga cannot be shiny during the event raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. From what has been shown off and what players are experiencing, players can only catch one Dialga per save file. That is likely due to the fact that Dialga is a Legendary Pokemon and it would not make sense to allow players to catch multiple of it.

This is despite the fact that Dialga does not have a mark much like the famous 7-Star Raids that players like to challenge. Dialga is a 5-star raid and is at Level 75. But because players can only catch one Dialga, this Pokemon can never be shiny. That is to prevent the unfortunate event where players see a Shiny Dialga and cannot catch it.

When Does The Dialga Tera Raid Event Start In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

The Dialga Tera Raid event will start on December 8th in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. On top of that, it will be a much longer raid event as well with plenty of time to catch this Legendary Pokemon. The raid event will end on December 21st. That means players jumping into the Indigo Disk DLC will be able to join these Tera Raids.
