One of the main points of Pokemon games is to raise a Pokemon team and battle them. Pokemon is a rather easy game but things have changed. With this new game released, players are exploring an open-world Pokemon game. That means that you can go anywhere but that also means tougher Pokemon battles.
So that is why we are here. We can teach you where you need to go to farm EXP for your new Pokemon so you will not fall behind. There are plenty of ways you can raise your team in these two new games, so it should always remain interesting.
The Best Ways To Get EXP In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet
The best way to get EXP for your Pokemon is through Tera Raid battles. The important thing to note here is that Tera Raids themselves do not give you EXP for your team. What they do actually give you is a bunch of EXP Candies.
When you use EXP Candies on your Pokemon, you will actually get experience points for that Pokemon. Depending on your level and the size of the EXP Candy that you get, your Pokemon may jump several levels when they are used.
This is especially true when you get Large EXP Candy or XL EXP Candy. To get better EXP Candies, you need to do more difficult raids. You can join raids at any time through the Union Circle or you can start your own raids as well. The more raids you do, the more EXP Candies you get which will help you level up your Pokemon faster.
Other Ways To Level Up Pokemon Fast In Scarlet And Violet
Of course, Tera Raids are not the only way you can raise your EXP quickly. There are multiple other methods to level up in Pokemon. One way is to hunt down wild Chansey or Blissey. Chansey and Blissy give you more EXP than other Pokemon and they can be found at Casseroya Lake.
You can also make sandwiches as well. Some sandwiches will give you bonus EXP to Pokemon of a certain type while you train them. We recommend you make a sandwich while training your Pokemon so you can get even more EXP.
One thing we do not suggest though is using the Let's Go feature. Sure you can automatically defeat Pokemon this way and it is easy EXP, but it is also reduced EXP. If you do not want to lose out on EXP, do not use the Let's Go feature.
