It is time for the new upcoming Black Crystal Tera raid battles to commence. These are special raid battles because they are the only time you can take on 7-star raid battles and you can take on Pokemon that you cannot catch normally. So these are special events for you to catch very rare Pokemon.
The upcoming 7-star raid battles this time around are going to feature Unrivalved Cinderace. This is going to be a tough battle because of how strong it is and to stand against it, you will need the best counters and strategy to take it on. Here, we are going to go over what you need to do to take down the Unrivalved Cinderace.
What Time Does The 7-Star Cinderace Black Crystal Tera Raids Start?
The first thing you need to know is when these raids are actually going to start. The raid times are in a short timeframe, so it is very easy for players to actually miss the raid times for the Black Crystal Tera raids. You will want to be looking for Black Crystal raid dens from December 30th to January 1st and from January 13th until January 15th, 2023.
This is the second wave of Black Crystal Tera raids that have been available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The first wave featured Unrivaled Charizard and it was a beast to take down. Just remember that you will actually have to do the raid yourself if you want to have a Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark.
Best Counters For Cinderace Tera Raid Battles In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet
Now to take this Cinderace on, you will first need a Pokemon that is level 100. The Cinderace is level 100 and you will want to be on as even of a playing field as possible. Make sure whatever Pokemon you bring is level 100.
Now for actual Pokemon to bring, one Pokemon we suggest is Flutter Mane. Because Cinderace is a Fighting Tera-type Pokemon, Flutter Mane being a Ghost type completely counters this. On top of that, Flutter Mane is also a Fairy-type Pokemon, which gives it access to strong fairy moves like Moonblast which Fighting-type Pokemon are weak to.
We also suggest bringing powerful Water-type Pokemon as well like Azumarill. If it is like before, Cinderace could have the hidden ability, Libero which switches its type to whatever move it used. So it is possible that Cinderace could revert back to a Fire-type Pokemon thanks to Libero. It is uncertain if this interaction works with Terrastized Pokemon, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
