Pokémon GO Yamask – Timed Research Challenges & Rewards

Trainers are currently enjoying the Halloween-themed content in Pokémon GO, boasting several new spooky new monsters appearing in the wild and through various raids for a limited time. Yamask and Galarian Yamask are two featured Pokémon for the Halloween event, which Trainers can learn more about through the Special Research challenge.

While more strange occurrences are happening in-game, there may be a Shiny Yamask and Shiny Galarian Yamask to encounter for the latest Timed Research. This guide details all the Yamask Timed Research challenges announced and the rewards earned for the Pokémon GO Halloween event.

All Pokémon GO Yamask Timed Research Challenges & Rewards

Akin to the Halloween Timed Research tasks, the Yamask Timed Research tasks require Trainers to spend local currency to acquire them. Available from 20th October 2022 at 10 am local time, Trainers can purchase a ticket equivalent to $1 to access the tasks, which include its rewards and notable encounters.

These tasks must be completed before they expire on 1st November 2022 at 10 am local time, or Trainers will risk losing out on the rewards. Below we’ve detailed the complete list of challenges and rewards for the limited-time Yamask Timed Research according to Pokémon source Leek Duck:

Yamask Timed Research (2/2)

• Catch a Ghost-type Pokémon: Galarian Yamask encounter
• Catch five Ghost-type Pokémon: Galarian Yamask encounter
• Catch ten Ghost-type Pokémon: Galarian Yamask encounter
• Catch 15 Ghost-type Pokémon: Galarian Yamask encounter

As Trainers learn more about Yamask and Galarian Yamask in the Mysterious Masks Special Research, this Timed Research will see them be awarded encounters against Yamask and Galarian Yamask. Additionally, there are chances that during these encounters, they might cross paths with either a Shiny Yamask or Shiny Galarian Yamask.

While there aren’t event-exclusive bonuses for the Yamask Timed Research to take advantage of, the Halloween event does come with a few to enjoy. All Trainers can receive double Candy for catching, hatching, and transferring Pokémon and one additional Candy XL for enjoying walks with their buddy Pokémon.

However, this specific bonus only applies to those holding a Trainer Level 31 and higher, but there’s plenty of Candy for all. The Yamask Timed Research will conclude on 1st November 2022 at 10 am local time for all participants in Pokémon GO.
