Pioner Game Release Date Speculation and Latest News

Pioner is an upcoming open-world FPS game taking place in a post-apocalyptic Soviet-era island, developed by GFAGames. Players will explore an environment with extreme levels of radiation that's filled with animals, mutants, and anomalies. Pioner definitely has a promising premise, and whilst it was intending to release in 2023, it was unfortunately delayed until 2024. Why Was Pioner Delayed

On November 22, 2023 Alexander Nikitin (Founder of LLC GFAGAMES) announced that the studio was postponing Pioner's release to 2024. Here's the full statement:

"Our development team has been working hard to create the project. We are improving the game on a daily basis, refining mechanics and developing the details of the project, however, the scaling and content challenges of the PIONER world are too ambitious to release the game in 2023 without sacrificing quality. Based on the results of our testing, we decided to take more time and improve the game to maintain the standards we have always focused on. We ask for your understanding of our position as our game needs to be quality in order to be successful and grow for years to come. We apologize for the wait and hope that the content and quality of our game can live up to it."

When will Pioner Release

For now, Pioner's release date is "2024" but there's no specific release window or date to explain precisely how far into the year the game might have been delayed.

The lack of clarity means we could be looking at an early 2024 release whilst the developers finish adding some polish, or perhaps the delay means we won't see the game until much later on in the year.

For now, it's all up for speculation. However, the game will have a beta access period prior to its full release, which will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it's ready for a full release on all platforms.

If we had to put our money on it, we think we'll see a beta in the first half of 2024, with a full release pushed into the second half of the year.

What Platforms will Pioner Release On

Although the website shows that the game is coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms, there's no specific information at the time of writing.
