Kinetic Games' Phasmophobia is finally coming to consoles for Early Access - including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Playstation VR - in August 2023, according to a trailer released on 13th June 2023. The trailer was revealed during Xbox Showcase Extended 2023.
The trailer showcases ghost hunters exploring houses much like in the PC edition of the game, using tools like UV lights, the D.O.T.S. Projector, and more, to gain evidence of ghosts and determine their identities. It promises 24 unique ghost types and 10 maps to explore.
Kinetic Games' announcement that Phasmophobia is coming to consoles comes prior to the game's upcoming major Progression Update, which will include new tools, an updated three-tier system for all equipment, and new progression badges.
It's likely that we'll see an array of this new content coming in the next Phasmophobia PC update in the console editions of the game as well.
