Party Animals 2023 Release Date
Update: The official release date for Party Animals is 20 September 2023!
Original article follows.
Party Animals first had a release date window of 2022. However, at The Game Award 2022, the developers announced the new release date window of "early 2023".
At the time of writing, there is no exact Party Animals release date, but considering an early 2023 window, we will likely know more soon. PC gamers can wishlist the game on Steam right now. Interestingly, Party Animals is more wishlisted on Steam than Ark 2, sitting at the number five spot at the time of writing.
Party Animals Platforms & Crossplay?
Party Animals will be available on PC via Steam and Xbox once it releases. At the time of writing, it appears that there are no plans to bring the party to PS4/PS5 systems.
We suspect there will be crossplay involved and that "Xbox" means Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC via Microsoft Store. We will update this section once we know the exact Party Animals platforms.
Party Animals Gameplay & Features
Party Animals features a realistic physics engine as you paw at friends and strangers in both online and offline multiplayer.
To get an idea of what the frantic, fuzzy, and honestly very cute gameplay looks like, check out the Party Animals trailer released at The Game Awards 2022 below.
Hilarious, right? We believe this to be the next Fall Guys and can't wait to play Party Animals once it releases.
Players can team up with their friends or betray them. There are environmental factors, items such as bombs, weapons like a crossbow, and much more. Battles take place in a variety of interesting environments, from a submarine bent on destroying the world to a freezing cold fighter jet, a station "where Keanu Reeves fought a guy," what appears to be a winter wonderland, and many others.
The fuzzy, fluffy characters in Party Animals will also come with different outfits, which we suspect players will have to unlock in some way or another.
