A letter will guide players during this festive time of the year as they share their hopes and dreams for the new year with Villagers. Join us and share your festive wishes as this guide details how to complete the Winterlights Wonder quest in Palia.
Palia Winterlights Wonder Quest Objectives List
The season of Winterlights has started in Palia as the holiday festivities have seen snow appear throughout the world, and players have set up their Winterlights Tree. Speaking of the tree, they would have received it from a letter in the Mailbox along with a new seasonal quest, Winterlights Wonder, which explores this auspicious holiday.
To guide players into the spirit of the holidays, we’ve listed all the relevant quest objectives to assist players in completing the Winterlights Wonder quest in Palia:
- 0/8 Light candles with eight Villagers
- 0/24 Light candles with all 24 Villagers (Optional)
- Return home to see what happens next
How To Complete The Winterlights Wonder Quest In Palia?
The Winterlights Wonder quest can be received via the Mailbox in the letter along with the Winterlights Tree and Winterlight Candle Stick items. They’ll also get recipes for these items, which the Winterlights Candle Stick is needed to complete this quest.
As the quest objective tasks them with lighting candles with any eight Villagers, they have the option to do this task with all 24 Villagers, including Subira, but not Tau, as he’s a Plumehound. That being said, players should have completed the Subira introduction quests, Fit For A Watcher, Your Order Is Served, and Extravagant Expectations to be able to complete the optional quest objective.
Whether players choose to complete the optional quest objective or not, crafting the Winterlights Candle Stick requires one Iron Bar. Depending on whether they met the quest objective or did the optional quest objective, they’ll need between eight and 24 Iron Bars to make eight to 24 Winterlights Candle Sticks.
All that’s left is to find the Villagers in Kilima Village and Bahari Bay and speak with them to get a new dialogue option to light the candle with them. In doing so, they’ll receive a unique ornament from each Villager until they’ve met the quest objectives.
We advise lighting a candle with Zeki as he'll give players some backstory into the Winterlights Pirate, which was briefly hinted at in the letter he sent to the Mailbox. Additionally, players will receive a blueprint for Winterlights Stockings, which can be crafted at the Worktable.
Once they've lit, they can return to their Housing plot for a festive surprise that awaits them. Rather than let players know what that surprise may be, we leave that for them to discover and enjoy!
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
