The Temple of the Gales has proven to be a breath of fresh air for players who have started exploring this elemental temple in Palia. With unique puzzles and interesting gameplay mechanics to help players further their adventures, some may have needed help after finding a locked temple door in the starting area.
Putting on their investigative hat, the clues to help them solve this puzzle will put their conversation skills at the forefront when speaking to Caleri and Elouisa. If players are still stuck, we’ve explained how to solve the door puzzle at the Temple of the Gales in Palia.
Palia Temple Of The Gales Guide: How To Solve The Temple Door Puzzle?
Players who have just started their adventures exploring the initial starting area of the Temple of the Gales will be met with a somewhat familiar sighting after fixing and activating the first Flow Gate. Once they complete this, they’ll be teleported to a new room where they’ll find some of the new Furnishing items from the Emberborn set and a large door with mysterious engravings.
This vaguely resembles the doors found at the Temple of the Waves and the Temple of the Flames in previous quests. Also in this room are four eggs on each side, three nests across from the door, and a tablet resting on a bookshelf.
To unlock the door in this room, players are to speak with Caleri and Elouisa as they’ll receive clues on how to solve this door puzzle. When speaking to Caleri, she revealed that the engravings below the nests are symbols she had found on human maps: one representing “flames bursting out the top” and the other being “a small house in a grassy field.”
While Caleri may not be familiar with the center engraving, Elouisa will know something about it, which should help players solve this puzzle. Elouisa will reveal to players that not only are the eggs laid by Silverwings color-coordinated with each element, but the middle engraving is also connected to the ocean “in some way.”
With this information, players can solve the Temple Of The Gales door puzzle by collecting the red, blue, and green Silverwings eggs. They must place the correctly colored eggs corresponding to each element in this order from left to right: Red, Blue, and Green (Fire, Water, and Earth).
This will unlock the door in this room, and heading down the corridor will lead them to an air vent with a wind current going upwards. Riding this current using their glider will allow them to reach the Main Island of the Temple of the Gales, continue the Silver-winging It! quest, and further their exploration of this temple.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
