Will There Be A Christmas-Themed Event In Palia

The Festive Season usually sees fewer gaming releases but plenty of game updates as seasonal content gets added to keep players entertained during the holidays. This is also applicable for the cozy MMO, Palia, as there will be themed content arriving soon to help get Palians into that jolly mood.

As developer Singularity 6 has found a way to adapt real-world special events and occasions, like Halloween, for the game, could we expect a Christmas-themed event to be added? We’ve followed the snowy prints as we answered whether Palia will receive a limited-time Christmas event this year.

Is There A Christmas-Themed Event For Palia?

As we’re fast approaching the Holiday Season, players hoping for a Christmas-themed event in Palia will have to wish extremely hard this year. As of writing, we can confirm that there's no Christmas-themed event, the Winterlights Festival, added to Palia, as the developer confirmed in the 0.186 patch notes, which new players will have the Winterlights Wonder quest to experience.

The developer added that the Majiri culture wanted to bridge their world with human customs, which is how the annual celebration, Winterlights, was founded, as players will spot various trees, decorations, and lights dazzling the town day and night. As such, Singularity 6 has outlined some festive activities, making its jolly way to Kilima Village and Bahari Bay.

To help get players into that festive mood, a new seasonal store, the Winterlights Store, is currently available to purchase a few Christmas-themed items, including a new Winterlights Tree. Several items will become available by completing the aforementioned quest and finding all Winterlights Treasure Chests in Kilima Village using the clues provided by Zeki.

Aside from the return of the Winterlights Store, new Winterlights-themed decor items, and Winterlights Treasure Chests to find—the latter connected to a limited-time Accomplishment, Winterlights Gift Sleuth—snow will begin to descend and find its way into every nook and cranny in both locations for a limited time.

Don't forget, Palians, that the Maji Market will be back between 3rd and 10th December 2024, and it will be back for yet another week in January 2025.
