How To Complete A Little Cough Discovery Quest In Palia?
A Little Cough is a Discovery quest players can accept from Tamala after speaking with her during the day in Bahari Bay. However, after speaking with her, she's not feeling her best as she's been battling a slight cough and, therefore, can't engage in conversation with them.
Players who wish to converse further with Tamala are to find and forage some Spice Sprouts, which will help soothe her throat. If players have Spice Sprouts within the Backpack Inventory, they can immediately give them to Tamala after accepting this quest.
If players need help finding Spice Sprouts, they have the option to speak to certain Villagers knowledgeable about Spice Sprouts, including Reth and Caleri. Spice Sprouts are a forageable item that can be easily found throughout Kilima Village, specifically around Leafhopper Hills and Mirror Fields, which they can pick up before returning to Tamala.
Once they've found Tamala somewhere in Bahari Bay, around the Flooded Steps or Bahari Central Stables, they can turn in the Spice Sprouts. As thanks for delivering the Spice Sprouts to her promptly, players can receive various rewards depending on the dialogue option selected.
Choosing the "Money always works" option awards them 15 Renown, 200 Gold, and improving their Friendship with her. Selecting the option where you inquire what she needs them for will reward them with 15 Renown, ten Silk Threads, and five Kilima Night Moths and improve their Friendship level with her.
