The launch of Overwatch 2's Season 13 brought a wealth of new content and updates, including the spooky Halloween Terror event, new Mythic skins, and map reworks. However, one major highlight was a teaser trailer hinting at a new Tank hero set to arrive in Season 14, currently referred to as "Phreak" by most fans.

Despite the excitement, the developers have yet to officially announce anything, leaving fans with little information. However, some players have discovered in-game teasers that may provide more clues. Let’s dive into these discoveries and what they could mean for the upcoming Season 14 Tank hero in Overwatch 2.

As players have explored Season 13, they've noticed several maps now feature vandalism marked with graffiti from a mysterious group referred to as the "Phreaks," according to the tags. These markings were first seen in the official Season 13 teaser trailer, but players have since discovered them scattered across different spawn locations in the game.

For example, similar to the teaser’s scene set in the Oasis spawn room, the in-game version of the Oasis spawn shows the same level of destruction. The ferrofluid sphere in the center has been shattered, and the office is ransacked, covered with glowing, animated graffiti and purple crystals.

Meanwhile, players have spotted the nightclub in New Queen Street's forward spawn, which also displays animated graffiti and strange crystals, although it hasn't been destroyed like the Oasis research facility. The lore implications of these scenes are still speculative, with some fans theorizing a connection to Moira (since Oasis is her base of operations) and suggesting that the new hero may have some ties to or may have been experimented on by her.

At the moment, all we can do is speculate about these vandalized locations, but fortunately, more information should be revealed soon. The developers are expected to share details in the first month of the season; so we may get more news around early November about this mysterious new hero. We'll keep you updated, so stay tuned for the latest developments!
