Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has been out in the wild for barely a day, and players have already found incredible ways to optimise the cast, taking advantage of the great mobility the game boasts.
One of the character's that's quickly rising the ranks of virtually everyone's tier list is Sandy Cheeks, the resilient squirrel inhabiting the depths of Bikini Bottom.
The reason why Sandy has become so popular is due to an infinite she can perform with relative ease, one that the developers confirmed during The Juice Box tournament hosted by Melee icon Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma, will be removed in an upcoming hotfix.
The Sandy infinite can be performed by jab locking an opponent in place and continuously jabbing them, often side switching to avoid them falling out of it.

Sandy jab infinite to be removed from NASB
As we mentioned, Hungrybox hosted perhaps the biggest Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl so far with The Juice Box #53, with players from Smash Ultimate, Melee, PM, Slap City, and Rivals of Aether coming together to compete online thanks to its incredible rollback netcode.
During the stream, Thaddeus Crews, character designer and programmer, revealed a list of fixes down the pipeline for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, including the removal of Sandy's infinite.
"Things that are already fixed [are] the Sandy jab infinite, jab reset triggering in a flinch state when you're not actually downed, and the tech lockout," Thaddeus mentioned.
Tech lockout refers to some combos being untechable, even when they're not supposed to. For those out of the loop, players can perform a tech roll as soon as they hit the ground to avoid getting comboed.
