With how massive Magic The Gathering is as a property, it makes sense that there are a LOT of releases each year. With hundreds of cards making their debut, and different products released that pertain to different formats of Magic The Gathering, it's very easy to just lose track of exactly what's coming out and when. We've taken a look at all announced products for Magic The Gathering in both the rest of this year and 2024, put together a release schedule for you, and explained exactly what each set will contain.

Ravnica Remastered
Release Date: January 12th, 2024
Ravnica Remastered is the first set of 2024 and will focus on reprints. Cards from Ravnica: City of Guilds, Return to Ravnica, and Ravnica Allegiance, and will make it a lot easier to get your hands on rarer cards from these sets. The set will also use retro card frames to throwback to the past of Magic The Gathering as a franchise, so older players will want to snap up this set while it's available.
Murders at Karlov Manor
Release Date: February 9th, 2024
After the Remaster comes a brand-new set set in the world of Ravnica. As implied by the name, Murders at Karlov Manor will be a murder mystery set, though how this mechanically will be implemented into the game is a relative unknown as of right now (we'll probably know more by Christmas of this year).
Ravnica: Clue Edition
Release Date: February 2024
Ravnica: Clue Edition is not a version of Clue. Despite the confusing name, it's actually a new version of Magic itself that is themed specifically for Multiplayer play. We don't know how this new version of the game will work yet, though, and we don't know if the set will see new cards released or if it'll only be reprints of older cards.
Fallout: Universes Beyond
Release Date: March 8th, 2024
The Fallout Universes Beyond set will consist of four different Commander Decks which will showcase various elements of the beloved franchise. However, since the set is so far from release, we don't actually know what will be included in the set. We can probably assume that we'll see all four games represented, though, with cards for each major installment in the franchise.
Outlaws of Thunder Junction
Release Date: Q2 2024
This is the second premier set to release in 2024 and will feature a brand new world in Magic The Gathering. Villains from all over the multiverse will appear in this setting, which looks to be Western-themed and will be a brand new plane of existence in Magic lore. Outlaws of Thunder Junction is actually the 100th Magic Expansion, making it a rather special milestone for the company.
Modern Horizons Three
Release Date: Q2 2024
Modern Horizons Three is the third (surprise!) set in the Modern Horizons series and will force a soft rotation of the format, meaning that older cards can no longer be played and must be replaced with newer cards. The Eldrazi Titans feature in the artwork too, which is especially interesting as they were previously absent from Commander Masters despite CM having a dedicated Eldrazi deck, so it'll be interesting to see what else is in the set.
Assassin's Creed: Universes Beyond
Release Date: July 2024
The second and final Universes Beyond release of 2024 will be taking a dive into the world of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed. This will introduce a new type of Booster Pack called a 'Beyond Booster', which is intended to show off the universe of the associated product while also featuring reprints of older cards, but won't be draftable. Beyond that, we know very little about what to expect with the product.
Bloomburrow
Release Date: Q3 2024
Bloomburrow will be part of a new storyline called the 'Dragonstorm Arc', though we don't exactly know what this arc will be about. What we do know is that the set won't feature any humanoid creatures, but will instead be all about anthropomorphic animals such as Rabbits, Squirrels, and perhaps even a few Frogs.
Duskmourn: House of Horror
Release Date: Q3 2024
The final known premier set of 2024 is Duskmourn: House of Horror and is a complete tonal shift from the previously mentioned Bloomburrow. Instead of featuring cute animals, this will be all about a terrifying mansion filled with things that the human mind can barely cope with. It'll center around the more terrifying aspects of Magic lore and isn't one for the faint of heart.
MTG Sets Coming In 2025 and Beyond
Final Fantasy Universes Beyond
Release Date: 2025
Final Fantasy will be coming to Magic The Gathering at some point in 2025, though it's currently unknown what form it'll take. What we do know is that it will feature locations and characters from ALL of the Final Fantasy games.
Marvel Universes Beyond
Release Date: 2025
Marvel is also coming to Magic The Gathering with multiple different sets, but it's currently completely unknown what type of release this will be, what type of characters we can expect to be represented or really anything about the set.
