Magic The Gathering: Lost Caverns Of Ixalan Commander Decks

Lost Caverns of Ixalan launches next month, bringing with it a series of brand new cards and several new mechanics that'll change how you create your Magic The Gathering decks. In addition to the regular set release (which includes a brand new selection of Jurassic Park Universes Beyond cards), there are also four different Commander Decks being released. We've got the details for what each deck contains.

Lost Caverns Of Ixalan Commander Decks

The new Commander Decks will be taking inspiration from the four factions of Ixalan, with the following decks:

• Ahoy Mateys (Red, Blue, and Black) - This is a Pirate-focused deck that uses a combination of Treasure creation, in addition to recurring cards from the Graveyard so that you constantly have resources.
• Blood Rites (White and Black) - Blood Rites is a deck focused on Vampires. It's a deck that sacrifices a lot by using the powers of the Bat God Aclazotz who allows the Vampires to become Demons in addition to Vampires.
• Explorers Of The Deep (Green and Blue) - Focusing specifically on the Explore mechanic, Explorers of the Deep allows you to place counters on your creatures as you place land on the field.
• Veloci-Ramp-Tor (White, Red, and Green) - Veloci-Ramp-Tor is a ramp deck. Shocking, we know. You use Dinosaurs in this deck in addition to a number of humans, and it's all about those big numbers.

You'll be able to pick up these decks when the set launches properly on November 17th. You'll also be able to get the cards collected here separately in the booster packs that will be launching with the set.
