Fans of the legendary platformer series Crash Bandicoot are having a lot of reasons to be excited this year.
After almost a decade of absence, Crash is finally getting a new game in the main series, called Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, with new abilities, new mechanics and over 100 new levels, which is larger than all 3 original games combined!
But that's not the only new Crash Bandicoot game that will be released this year.

After a soft launch back in April, Crash is now officially heading to Android and iOS devices later this year with Crash Bandicoot: On the Run.
The game has been developed by King, a studio famous for their Candy Crush Saga, which is still a money-making machine for Activision-Blizzard, owners of King.
"In Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!, Dr. Neo Cortex has dispatched iconic villains across the multiverse to take control of all dimensions. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must bash Cortex's minions back to their own dimensions," says on the official Crash Bandicoot: On the Run page.
"Use Crash's unstoppable energy and let the fur fly as you run, spin and slide your way to stop the dastardly Dr. Neo Cortex from destroying all worlds."

The announce trailer doesn't show much of gameplay, but from what we can see, the game is offering your typical Cash action - a lot running and platforming with wacky characters and catchy tunes.
Crash’s sister Coco will be a playable character as well, and we will be able to collect material and craft "wild and wacky weapons," which sounds like something we haven't seen in Crash games before.
A lot of classic enemies and bosses will be featured in the game, including Scorporilla and Nitrus Brio.
