Minecraft Dungeons releases on 26th May 2020, and we are all ready for the action-RPG, blocky adventure from Mojang and Double Eleven.
With video game file sizes being so massive this generation, it is great to know the Minecraft Dungeons file size will be tiny on Windows 10 PC, Xbox One, as well as Nintendo Switch.
No matter which platform you choose to play on, the Minecraft Dungeons file size weighs in at under 4 GB.

Let's cut right to the chase and look at the Minecraft Dungeon file size:
- Windows 10 PC - 2.71 GB
- Nintendo Switch - 3.60 GB
- Xbox One - 2.54 GB
Minecraft Dungeons is also set to release on the PS4 on 26th May. At the time of writing, the game isn't up for pre-order on the PlayStation Store page.
However, you can expect the Minecraft Dungeons PS4 file size to be roughly the same as Xbox One.

Since the game is a Microsoft IP, it is unlikely PS4 users will be able to pre-load the game. However, with the extremely small file size, it shouldn't take anyone more than an hour to download the game, unless you are on a 56k modem and stuck in the 90s.
Searching the PS4 Store brings up no results for Minecraft Dungeons
A description of Minecraft Dungeons reads: "Fight your way through an all-new action-adventure game, inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and set in the Minecraft universe!
"Up to four friends can play together, or you can brave the dungeons alone. Battle new-and-nasty mobs across action-packed, treasure-stuffed, wildly varied levels, all in an epic quest to defeat the evil Arch-Illager!"
The tiny Minecraft Dungeons file size is quite impressive, considering the game is Xbox One X enhanced, providing a 4k resolution with HDR support. On Windows 10 PC it also provides Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support.
Being available on all these platform has lead to questions about whether players will be able to play with their friends on different consoles or PCs, and while cross-platform has been promised to arrive in a patch in the future, until then one user has managed to find a way of getting Xbox and PC players to party together.
