Featuring diverse biomes in the lush, beautiful, and blocky Overworld of Minecraft Legends, the world is one ripe to explore. Some players might be wondering what the full Overworld map for Minecraft Legends looks like and how the campaign map differs from PvP multiplayer.
This guide explains what the Minecraft Legends map looks like, alongside an example of the multiplayer maps in the new action strategy game, so let's dig in.
Are Minecraft Legends Maps Procedurally Generated?
If you are a Minecraft fan, then one of the first things you might wonder is if Minecraft Legends maps, both for the campaign and multiplayer, are procedurally generated. The answer is yes.
Everything in Minecraft Legends' Overworld is procedurally generated. This includes player bases, Piglin bases, the mounts you can find on the map, recourses, and even the size of the different biomes in the Overworld.
Minecraft Legends Story/Campaign Full Map
As you can see from the image above, this is an example of the map we got during the campaign, with our main base of operations (Well of Fate) being right in the center. As you explore the map, more points of interest will become available, from villages to Piglin outposts and additional objectives, such as destroying specific towers.
Each Overworld map in Minecraft Legends features a variety of different biomes, from Sand to a lush forest and more. It is, however, essential to note that the map size does depend on the difficulty level you choose. For example, Minecraft Legends' "storied" difficulty, the easiest one, has a smaller map size, more resources, and fewer Piglin bases.
Multiplayer PvP Maps in Minecraft Legends
Just like the Campaign, the Minecraft Legends PvP multiplayer maps are procedurally generated. There are, however, similarities, as each map includes the following:
- Two bases, one for each team, which are generally rather far apart.
- Piglin bases in PvP.
- Different biomes filled with unique resources to harvest and use.
Since these maps are randomly generated, they add a sense of exploration in every single match, which is a great way to keep players competing, in our opinion.
