The Hood is a very versatile card in Marvel Snap. Coming with the detriment of having to put a negative two-power card into play, the payoff of being able to play a six-power card for only one Energy is more than worth it. Because of this, The Hood sees play in a wide variety of different deck archetypes, almost all of which find some way to remove the negative two-power card from their side of the field.
So, if you are ready to start using The Hood in Marvel Snap, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best The Hood decks in Marvel Snap, including deck lists, strategies, and more!

The Best Hood Decks In Marvel Snap
As mentioned, most decks running The Hood will want to find some way to remove the base card from their side of the field. This can be done with destruction effects such as Carnage or Galactus or by passing it along to your opponent with Viper. Regardless of the method you choose to use, there are very few situations where leaving The Hood up on your side of the field will be beneficial.
Standard Destruction Deck
Currently, the destruction archetype is a force to be reckoned with. Along with cards like Death, Aero, She-Hulk, and Wave, very few can withstand the constant onslaught of high-power cards being thrown at them when playing against this deck.
The game plan here is simple. Players will want to control the board early with cards like Bucky Barnes and Deathlok. Then, as you transition into the late game, by playing Wave on turn five, you will have the opportunity to play She-Hulk, Death, and Aero, all on the final turn!
The Hood is by no means a staple card in this deck, but if you find that including it wins you more games than without, feel free to slot it in!
Standard Destruction Deck List:
- The Hood
- Squirrel Girl
- Yondu
- Bucky Barnes
- Carnage
- Killmonger
- Wave
- Deathlok
- Moon Girl
- Aero
- She-Hulk
- Death
Junk Deck
The Junk deck in Marvel Snap is a deck that tries to flood your opponent's locations with useless cards. This is done, for example, with cards like Debrii, Green Goblin, and Viper. Then, as you transition into the final turn, Hazmat and Luke Cage will reduce the cost of all the junk on your opponent's board while keeping your cards safe from harm.
Junk Deck List:
- The Hood
- Black Widow
- Luke Cage
- Carnage
- Hazmat
- Viper
