Marvel Rivals To Reward Players With Test-Exclusive Scarlet Witch Costume

The Closed Alpha Test for superhero team-based PVP shooter Marvel Rivals has officially begun on PC as developer NetEase Games had forwarded invites for players to join. With a small pool of playable characters available, three maps, and various game modes unlocked for the duration of the Closed Alpha Test, five unique events are present for the Alpha.

When completed, these in-game events can be rewarding for players as they can acquire exclusive rewards. This was first revealed by Miller Ross on his Twitter account, where he explained that a specific event gives Alpha participants a unique costume for the Scarlet Witch.

One of these events, Galacta's Quest, has been gaining attention online mainly because of a unique reward available exclusively for the Closed Alpha Test. This event requires players to complete daily and weekly missions to earn XP, which allows them to unlock various rewards.

According to Ross, two rewards are the "Test Elite (Alpha)," which is likely a title of sorts that unlocks at Level 27. The other more notable reward is unlocked at Level 30, which is the "Moonlit Witch" Scarlet Witch costume that players can earn.

Furthermore, these items are being listed as "test-exclusive permanent rewards," which will carry over to the full game at launch. That means players who are unable to participate or have received an invite for the current Closed Alpha Test won't have an opportunity to earn these rewards, including the "Moonlit Witch" Scarlet Witch costume in Marvel Rivals.

Scarlet Witch is one of the playable characters available for the Closed Alpha Test, which is live for PC only between 10th and 20th May 2024. The developer has stated that "there will be more opportunities to join" the Closed Alpha Test, with details to be announced soon.
