With a love for the NFL steadily growing outside of the USA, it's perhaps no surprise that EA are kicking off their first-ever international finals for the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS).
On March 3, the MCS will be bringing the Madden Bowl to London, UK — the culmination of the MCS, which kicked off back in August 2024. The winner of the Madden Bowl will be crowned the 2025 MCS Champion, taking home USD $250,000. The runner-up won't be left empty handed, either, walking away with USD $150,000.
The showdown will see the top two Madden NFL esports players Jonathan ”JonBeast” Marquez and Jacob “Fancy” Worthington battle it out for first place.
“We’re looking forward to bringing our community a new and exciting experience from London with our first international Madden NFL esports final,” said Monica Dinsmore, Head of Esports, EA. “It’s a great chance for our finalists to get the Championship moment they deserve while also celebrating the growing passion for American football on the world stage.”
A venue for the MCS in London has yet to be announced, though fans will be able to tune into the action at 7 PM ET (that's midnight for us lot in the UK) on the official MCS Twitch and YouTube.
