You'll be startled and lost as Little Kitty, Big City kicks off, but several additional ways to navigate the area can be unlocked later on like fast travel. Being able to fast travel makes a huge dent in the amount of time it takes your little kitty to get from one side of town to the other.
Fortunately, you won't have to wait too long to speed things up and start manipulating spacetime. We've got all the details you need in this guide covering how to unlock fast travel in Little Kitty, Big City.
How to Unlock Fast Travel in Little Kitty, Big City
While not your very first quest on the To-Do List, unlocking fast travel is still fairly early in Little Kitty, Big City. After you've met the crow, use him chilling on the bicycle as your starting point. Head down the street all the way until you reach the corner fruit shop with Mayor taking a nap.
Take a right at that corner, and continue all the way until you pass a construction area and see the large gated spot shown in the photo above. That's where you'll find a creature in need of help. Jump up on the air compressor, then the barrel, and carefully make your way around gathering the shinies before passing through to the side with Tanuki in need.
Fetch 3 feathers for Tanuki
After speaking to Tanuki, you'll be sent on a quest to gather three feathers. You can speak to an orange cat on top of a parking machine just across from this gated area. He'll explain the process, and you can occasionally just have good placement and sneak up on a bird to pounce, but the easiest method is with bread. Wait until a person holding a sandwich walks by, trip them, and you now have bird bait.
After you've gathered three feathers, return to Tanuki to chat and try out his first attempt at fast travel. He'll drop you on the other side of the gate, and you can now explore the nearby construction site which will help you unlock photo mode in Little Kitty, Big City.
Your final step won't arrive until after you've delivered the 25 shinies to the crow you meet early on and gained the ability to climb up vines. That gives you the chance to unlock the map, after which you'll be greeted by Tanuki at the manhole cover by the fruit shop. Speak to him once again, and after another test transportation you'll finally be able to use feathers as a currency to fast travel with manhole covers in Little Kitty, Big City.
