How to Fetch the Dog's Balls in Little Kitty, Big City

If you've caught wind of this challenge but haven't yet unlocked it, you first have to finish unlocking fast travel with Tanuki. After your first petwork experiment, you have to meet Tanuki at the manhole cover in front of the fruit shop where Mayor sleeps. That'll transport you to the spot seen above where you'll meet the Bestest Best Dog and be asked to help fetch his balls.

The first one is hiding under a bucket just beside him, just swat at it until the bucket knocks over and you'll find the colorful ball beneath. Swat it back towards the hole he's dug and into the pit.

Use a precision jump to leap to the branch directly across, and you'll knock the next ball loose. Swat it over to the hole to move on to the final one.

Lastly, use the ivy by the greenhouse and climb a bit higher until you can hop ont othe railing for this balcony. The final ball is hiding in a plant here, just be careful to swat it down towards the ground and not onto the balcony itself. After it drops into his hole, you can speak to the dog to wrap this quest up and get yourself another fancy hat before continuing to explore Little Kitty, Big City.
