The LoL World Championship is the culmination of all things League of Legends, and marks one of the biggest esports events in the calendar. This year, Worlds will be taking place in arenas across Europe, with the Grand Finals taking place in London, UK.
We start with the Play-Ins and Swiss Stage, taking place in Berlin, Germany. The Knockout Stage will then move over to the Adidas Arena in Paris, France. Then, the battle for the coveted trophy in the Grand Finals will see players and fans descend on the O2 Arena in London on November 2, 2024.
All Teams Competing In League of Legends World Championship 2024
There will be a total of 20 qualifying teams announced ahead of the start of the Play-Ins, which kick off on September 25 and run until September 29, 2024. As such, the full list of teams has yet to be locked in. However, thanks to success in previous tournaments, a selection of teams have already qualified:
- Gen.G Esports (Winners of MSI 20204)
- G2 Esports (Winners of LEC Summer)
We've still got plenty of tournaments to go before the Play-Ins begin, including the LEC Finals, LPL Regional Finals, and LSC Summer. We'll continue to update this page as more teams are announced.
