The League Championship Series, or LCS Summer 2022, marks the 10th anniversary of North America's professional League of Legends esports league and welcomes ten of the world's best teams to compete over eight weeks.
This year, the scores of LCS Spring Split will be reset, giving all teams an equal opportunity to compete and potentially enabling an exciting new approach to the tournament. In addition, Riot Games' new format makes the Spring Playoffs responsible for evaluating the teams.

LCS Summer 2022 - How to watch stream
Fans can watch the action of the LCS Summer 2022 broadcast live on the official League Championship Series' Twitch channel embedded below. In addition, simulcasts of the games will also be broadcast on League of Legends’ official esports site and YouTube channel.
The Summer Split will be an offline event hosted in the LCS Studio in Los Angeles, United States. Interestingly, this will be the first tournament with a live audience since 2020. Tickets for the event are available here.

LCS Summer 2022 - Format
The LCS Summer 2022 will feature ten teams. The Group Stages will follow the double round-robin format, and all matches will be BO1. Teams who achieve 1st to 6th place will play in the Playoffs.

While the 1st to 4th place teams will get into the Semifinals, the 5th and 6th teams will proceed to the Losers’ Round 1. The Playoffs will follow a double-elimination format, with all matches being BO5.
