There's No Better Time Than Right Now to Dive into Hunt: Showdown 1896
As mentioned, Hunt: Showdown 1896 is gearing up to dominate the festive season and beyond. On December 13th, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass, alongside Post Malone’s Murder Circus event and the highly anticipated 2.2 update. With all three launching on the same day, there’s hardly any reason not to give it a try, especially if you’ve already got Game Pass lying around.
And of course, the content itself is more than worth it. Post Malone’s Murder Circus event will introduce new circus compounds to well-known maps, fresh event creatures to take down, and plenty of new missions to complete with rewarding loot. Additionally, there’s a new map rework for Lawson Delta, ported from the original Hunt: Showdown, offering a fresh take on a familiar location.
The 2.2 update aims to address many of the pain points players have voiced in recent months, including crashes, memory issues, region problems, UI upgrades, and more. But it’s not just about fixing technical issues - this update also adds tons of new content, such as hunter progression, a streamlined Bloodline and prestige reward system, and a rework of weapons, ammo, and inspections to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
With all this exciting new content coming to Hunt: Showdown 1896 and the game’s launch on Game Pass, there’s never been a better time for players to dive in. To all our current, new, and soon-to-be hunters, we’ll see you in the bayou and the carnival grounds!
