This is especially so, considering Honkai Star Rail is a PVE game, meaning players don't have to keep up with a competitive metagame.

Jingliu Is An Amazing Ice DPS

At the time of writing this, the only decent Ice DPS in the game is Yanqing. This means Jingliu will likely be the first Ice unit players will want to build for their account if they do not have Yanqing already. Partnered with decent supports like Pela, March 7th, and Gepard, Jingliu is the missing piece!

Jingliu's Eidolon 1 Is Almost Mandatory

Jingliu deals spread damage with her abilities, meaning that her damage will be shared out among adjacent enemies. This means that if there is only one target, a lot of the splash damage will be wasted. However, Jingliu's E1 takes that wasted splash damage and applies it to a single enemy. Jingliu's E1 is almost mandatory if you plan on using her for any kind of boss fight, and for this reason, the investment might be a little too high for some players with limited currency.
