How to open Madness at the Darkmoon Faire packs early

Hearthstone's latest expansion is scheduled to be released on 17th November, but if you have purchased one of the two pre-order bundles, you can open your packs a few days earlier.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Blizzard would have traditionally held a Pre-Release weekend with Fireside Gatherings all over the world organized by the members of the community.

Fireside Gatherings are officially sanctioned in-person gatherings of Hearthstone fans that anyone can set up, but the ongoing pandemic has forced Blizzard to put this program on hold, and now traditional Pre-Release Fireside Gatherings are not possible.

But Blizzard still wants fans at home to have an opportunity to take part in the Pre-Release weekend. In order to do that, they will allow individuals to create their own single-person events from their homes.

In this way, anyone who pre-ordered Madness at the Darkmoon Faire bundles will still have a chance to open their packs a few days earlier even without Fireside Gatherings.

Madness at the Darkmoon Faire pre-release Fireside Gatherings Schedule 

The pre-release event will take place the weekend before Madness at the Darkmoon Faire goes live.

Start date: 13th November at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET / 7PM CET

End date: 15th November at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET / 7PM CET 

How to set up a private pre-release Fireside Gathering

In order to open your Madness at the Darkmoon Faire packs during the pre-release event, you will need to create your own pre-release Fireside Gathering.

And that's very easy.

All you need to do is to go to Fireside Gathering "Create an event" page, and make sure that you are logged in with your Battle.net account you use for Hearthstone.

You can give any name you want to the event, the only important thing is that "Start date & time" matches pre-release Fireside Gatherings schedule.

Event duration should be 8 hours.

And that's it, you are all set.

When the pre-release weekend starts, your private pre-release Fireside Gathering will start automatically once you start Hearthstone, and you will be able to open your pre-ordered Madness at the Darkmoon Faire packs.
