GTA Online free money change for PlayStation Plus members

If you are a PlayStation Plus member who plays GTA Online, you should know by now about the free 1 million bonus money you receive each month. Ever since the bonus got introduced, players would receive their free GTA Online money into their Maze Bank account. Starting on 1st April 2021, this process will no longer be automatic. No, this isn't an April Fool's joke. 

How to claim free GTA Online money

March 2021 will be the last month PlayStation Plus members will automatically receive their GTA Online money.

Don't worry, you will still get your GTA Online money if you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription but you will just have to claim it yourself.

Unlike how it worked previously, you won't have to wait 72 hours after your first monthly play session for your GTA Online cash to appear in your Maze Bank account.

How to claim free GTA Online money:

• Sign up or have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
• Head to the PlayStation Store.
• Head to the PlayStation Plus section.
• Select the free 1,000,000 GTA money.
• Choose "Redeem".
• Log into GTA Online and spend your cash.

After manually claiming the GTA Online money bonus from the PlayStation store, it will be instantly available to use in-game.

While this change might seem like a bit of a hassle, it could be a welcome one for those who want to get their free GTA Online money as soon as possible each money.
