Is Michael De Santa Coming To GTA Online?

GTA Online is one of the most popular online games in the world. The game has been out for many years now, and the support it has received from Rockstar keeps players coming back for more. The storylines in GTA Online are one of the main reasons why players invest so much time into the game.

The story is filled with characters from the original Grand Theft Auto V game. Trevor, Lester, and Franklin all make an appearance in the game. But one notable character that is missing from GTA Online is Michael De Santa, one of the main playable characters in GTA 5. Where is Michael, and will he appear in GTA Online before the next game, Grand Theft Auto 6, eventually launches?

Will Michael De Santa Appear In GTA Online?

At the moment, Rockstar has not confirmed either way if Michael De Santa will make an appearance in GTA Online. Although both Franklin and Trevor are in GTA Online, Michael continues to be the only main character from GTA 5 to appear in the online game. But that does not mean he will never appear in GTA Online.

There is some evidence that Michael will eventually make his way to GTA Online. A GTA Online data miner has noted that there is a movie-set scenario spawn point that has not yet been utilized in the online game. As Michael worked on movies in the main game, the unused movie set scenario may be linked with his appearance in the online game.

It is also likely that Michael will appear in GTA Online simply because he is a main character in GTA 5. The other main characters exist in GTA Online, so it is reasonable for players to assume that Michael will appear in GTA Online at some point. The only issue is when he will appear.

When Will Michael De Santa Arrive In GTA Online?

At the moment, it is currently unknown when Michael will finally appear in GTA Online. Although we can speculate, nothing has been confirmed for when Michael will appear in the game.

We would speculate that Michael might even arrive as soon as the GTA Online Summer 2023 update.

Of course, it's plausible that Rockstar will slow down or stop support for GTA Online entirely, once plans for Grand Theft Auto 6 come into focus.

But we imagine a DLC themed around Michael would be one hell of a way to close the chapter on GTA Online, assuming Rockstar does decide to move on with it's new entry in the series.
