Gran Turismo 7 is easily regarded as one of the year's hottest releases. Marking the 25th anniversary since its title first debuted on PlayStation in 1997, developer Polyphony Digital is taking every measure necessary to ensure a top-quality product for their fans.
Featuring an expansive car list with over 400 automobiles, players will have various options to choose from, and it's safe to say GT7 will provide endless hours of racing content. However, one of the essential questions trending amongst players concerns the game's maintenance procedure, particularly how to restore rigidity in Gran Turismo 7.
Gran Turismo 7 Car Maintenance and Service
As players race around and progress through GT7, the Body Rigidity of their vehicles will decrease, resulting from natural wear and tear on the car. Followingly, if a player has been involved in collisions, then the rate at which the body rigidity decreases will be faster and will eventually need to be serviced.
Low body rigidity can seriously hinder a vehicle's ability to handle in GT7 and should not be left untended; otherwise, it will negatively impact gameplay. The Restore Rigidity service from the GT Auto Shop will repair the damage done to your vehicle's exterior and have everything on the car handling like a brand new ride once again.
How to restore rigidity in Gran Turismo 7
One of the important pillars players will quickly learn in Gran Turismo 7 is the importance of car maintenance and service. After progressing through the opening stages of the campaign mode, players will unlock the GT Auto Shop, where they will have work done on their cars.
When sufficient progress has been made, head to the GT Auto Pavillion, where the GT Auto Shop will be available for Maintenance & Servicing. After selecting the servicing menu, players will see their car displayed in an auto body shop along with a list of services to be performed on the vehicle.
Select the 'Restore Rigidity' service to replace and reinforce body panels that have been stressed or bent throughout the vehicle's life. Restore Rigidity is a relatively expensive service to perform in GT7 and will vary depending on the car in question.
Spoiler alert 😉
