Genshin Impact Secret Summer Paradise Event: Free Kaeya's Outfit, Layla

Secret Summer Paradise is the main event of the Genshin Impact 3.8 update, in which you will visit the Knights of Favonius headquarters upon Paimon's suggestion. The event will take place in the new temporary Veluriyam Mirage map, and you will participate in multiple game modes to complete required tasks and earn rewards like Primogems, Mora, Hero's Wit, and more, along with Layla and Kaeya's outfit "Sailwind Shadow," for free.

HoYoverse has revealed the complete details about the Secret Summer Paradise event, and here is everything you need to know about it, including the eligibility requirements, gameplay details, and rewards.

Genshin Impact Secret Summer Paradise Event Schedule & Eligibility

The Secret Summer Paradise event quest will be available on July 5 with the release of the Genshin Impact 3.8 update; however, the gameplay modes will be available on July 7 and will run till the next patch releases, i.e., August 15. In order to participate in the event, you will have to meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Adventure Rank 18 or above
• Complete Archon Quest "Song of the Dragon and Freedom"

HoYoverse has suggested completing Archon Quest "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises," Sangonomiya Kokomi's Story Quest "Dracaena Somnolenta Chapter: Act I," and Eula's Story Quest "Aphros Delos Chapter: Act I" first to get the best experience from this event. However, if you haven't, you can still enter the event by clicking on the "Quick Start" button on the event page.

Secret Summer Paradise Event Gameplay

The event will feature a quest split into two Acts that will be available on different dates listed below, and its gameplay will be divided in three Phases.

Quest Start Time

• Act 1: July 5
• Act 2: July 7

Gameplay Duration

• Phase 1: July 7 at 10:00
• Phase 2: July 9 at 4:00
• Phase 3: July 11 at 4:00

During the event, four types of gameplay modes will be available, and these include Spino Blaster, Sojourns of the Barking Fox,  Dance of Flashing Thought, and Bing-Bang Finchball and here is what you need to do in these modes.

Spino Blaster

In Spino Blaster, you will control special water cannon to complete some marksmanship challenges by shooting Target Balls. There will be different types of Target Balls with different effects; however, stay clear of the blue-colored Brouhaha Balls, as they will deduct your points and will end your current combo. Get the required points to unlock rewards like Primogems, Mora, and more. 

Sojourns of the Barking Fox

It is a special speed trial mode in which you will have to reach the destination within the given time period by controlling Barking Fox while collecting as many Adventure Coins as you can. However, make sure to dodge Sleetdross Fruits and Disruptor Orbs, as they will decrease the time left to complete the trial.

Dance of Flashing Thought

In this gameplay mode, you will have to defeat enemies to get Honed Will, and once the bar is full, you will get Honed Focus which will buff your combat ability. Get the required score to get multiple rewards.

Bing-Bang Finchball

This is a tabletop game mode in which you will have to shoot Finchballs, and based on which area it stops, you will get points, with Red Zone awarding the highest. Score the required number of points to earn rewards.

Secret Summer Paradise Event Rewards

While completing the event modes, you will be able to get Fascinating Phenocrysts that you can use to invite "Fantastical Evening Star” Layla (Cryo). Apart from this, you will also be able to earn Primogems, Mora, Hero's Wit, and other rewards from the event.

In addition to this, you will have to explore Veluriyam Mirage and collect Joyeux Vouchers in order to obtain Kaeya's outfit "Sailwind Shadow," and other rewards like Primogems, Mora, Character Ascension Rewards, and more.

Joyeux Vouchers can be found anywhere in Veluriyam Mirage, including Voucher Boxes and Fascinating Chests, and once you collect a certain number of vouchers, you will obtain the following gadgets to help you look for the remaining ones quickly.

• Flowing Joyspar: Find Joyeux Vouchers in a set AoE.
• Felicitous Joyspar: Find all Joyeux Vouchers in the Veluriyam Mirage.

If you miss getting Kaeya's outfit from the event, you can purchase it from the Character Outfit Shop for 1680 Genesis Crystals after the end of the Genshin Impact 3.8 version.
