Everything Announced In Genshin Impact 2.8 Livestream

Genshin Impact 2.8 update is all set to release on July 13, and before that, HoYoverse has organized a special program livestream to give us an overview of content coming with the update.

This includes new characters, Archon quests, Story quests, weapons, events, and more. You can watch the Genshin Impact 2.8 update livestream on its official Twitch channel.

[12:52 PM UTC] Wait!! There's more. HoYoverse has also shared the first look of the upcoming region Sumeru but it will not release in Genshin Impact 2.8 update.

[12:49 PM UTC] Before ending the livestream, HoYoverse made a special announcement regarding the new edition of the Genshin Impact soundtrack. The Genshin Impact's version 2.0 Commemorative OST album will be available soon.

[12:43 PM UTC] A new challenge called Evermotion Mechanical Painting has been revealed in which you will have to help Fèlix Yogue, a person from the court of Fontaine, to get Evermotion Mechanical Painting furnishing and other rewards. 

[12:41 PM UTC] Diluc's new skin will be available to purchase in the shop and you can participate in Hidden Strife event to get tons of rewards in Genshin Impact 2.8 update. 

[12:37 PM UTC] A new event called Resonating Visions will give you a new Fischl outfit for free along with many other rewards like free Primogems, Mora, Hero's Wit, Talent Level Up Materials, and more.

[12:33 PM UTC] You can participate in the Reminiscent Regimen challenge to earn free Primogems, Mora, Hero's Wit, Talent Level Up Materials, and more.

[12:25 PM UTC] A new event called Summertime Odyssey has been announced for the 2.8 update that will let you invite Fischl for free and reward you with free Primogems, Mora, and more.

[12:21 PM UTC] Heizou is getting his own Hangout event, Act 1 - Trap 'Em by Storm in Genshin Impact 2.8 update.

[12:20 PM UTC] The first banner will feature Heizou along with Kazuha and Klee while you will be able to pull Yoimiya in the Phase 2 banner. 

[12:17 PM UTC] Kazuha's Anemo friend, Heizou is all set to make his debut in Genshin Impact 2.8 update. He is a young prodigy detective from the Tenryou Commission with sharp senses and clear thoughts.

[12:13 PM UTC] Kazuha's new story quest has been revealed called Acer Palmatum Chapter: Act 1. It's time for you to dig deep into the backstory of one of the favorite characters in the game.

[12:00 PM UTC] HoYoverse reveals the trailer of the Genshin Impact 2.8 update called Summer Fantasia featuring Kazuha, Heizou, Yoimiya, Klee, and Fischl, and revealed the first redeem code that you can find here.
