The Genshin Impact 3.1 update is now here and there is plenty of things to do in this update. The update is named "King Deshret and the Three Magi." There is actually an area on the map named Mausoleum of King Deshret for you to explore.
But getting in is no simple task. Here, we will guide you through this update on how to enter The Mausoleum of King Deshret so you can see what secrets lie within.
Finding The First Quest To Enter The Mausoleum
The biggest first step you can take to making your way into The Mausoleum of King Deshret is to find the first quest that corresponds to the Mausoleum. Thankfully, there are no real barriers that prevent you from obtaining this starting quest.
Travelers will want to make their way to the Land of Lower Setekh to start. From there, you will find a town called Aaru Village. It is one of the very few areas surrounded by water in this region and it's near the border between Setekh and the Ashavan Realm.
In Aaru Village, you will meet a man named Bonifaz who will tell you about an archeology team that has gone missing. Once you have talked to him, you will receive a world quest called "Golden Slumber."
Within that quest, you will receive a subquest named "Lost in the Sands." Starting this quest will be your key to getting into The Mausoleum of King Deshret.
Once you start the Lost in the Sands quest, you will follow the footprints and when they eventually disappear, keep going in the direction that they were going towards. Eventually, you will have to go down into a giant hole in the desert where you will meet four people. The final person you talk to, Jeht, will instruct you to go toward nearby ruins.

You will be able to enter the ruins after some dialogue and then your next step is to explore those ruins. Through exploration, you will be able to eventually activate and control Scarlet Sand Slate which will allow you to unlock doors in the dungeon.
Once you make it to the end of the dungeon, the Lost in the Sands quest will be completed and will be replaced by the "An Introduction to Indoor Archaeology" quest. This quest also falls under the Golden Slumber world quest, another quest that will guide you to the Mausoleum.
You start this quest by going southwest to an oasis in the Hypostyle Desert. Once there, some dialogue will prompt you to find and talk to Jebrael, Jehts father. Once you have spoken to him, head back to the oasis and camp for the night.
The quest will then instruct you to head to Khemenu Temple. It is northwest and the entrance is similar to the dungeon you just got out of. The next step for you is to explore the temple and keep an eye out for Primal Embers to help you keep going deeper in the temple.
Be sure to keep an eye on your surroundings so you do not miss things like Primal Sandglass which could help you unlock doors in the temple.
Eventually through some puzzle solving, you will find an elevator that leads you to a door with a mural on it. Here, the quest An Introduction to Indoor Archaeology ends, and the quest "The Secret of Al-Ahmar" begins.
You ride the elevator behind the mural door and you will arrive near the Mausoleum of King Deshret entrance. Approach the main entrance and the Mausoleum will open for you.
And that is how you get into the Mausoleum of King Deshret. Just remember, the most important step is to find the Golden Slumber world quest at Aaru Village.
