Genshin Impact When Flowers Bloom event – How to join, tasks, rewards, and more

HoYoverse has launched the latest web event, When Flowers Bloom, featuring Genshin Impact’s next playable character, Kamisato Ayato. The web event gives Travelers a glance at the day-to-day operations at the Yashiro Commission, with a few familiar faces appearing throughout the event.

During the event, you’ll be assisting the servants of the Yashiro Commission, including the Kamisato Clan’s housekeeper, Thoma, by completing a series of tasks to earn rewards. Here is everything you need to know about the When Flowers Bloom web event.

Genshin Impact When Flowers Bloom – Start and end dates and times

The latest Genshin Impact web event honours the release of the game’s next playable character, Kamisato Ayato. The web event begins on 25th March 2022 at noon and ends on 30th March 2022 at 23:59 (UTC+8).

For the flowers to bloom in the sun, someone must tend to the weeds.

Genshin Impact When Flowers Bloom – How to join

Travelers taking part in the web event must have a HoYoverse account and any Adventure Rank 10 or higher character on any game’s servers.

Using your HoYoverse account, navigate to the web event page, where you can sign in with your account details to choose your preferred server and character. If you’re participating from a PS4 or PS5 console, you can join the web event by accessing the Mail section from the game’s menu.

Throughout the web event, you must complete all the relevant tasks outlined by the Yashiro Commission’s servants, which includes planting various plants and waiting for them to bloom to earn rewards.

After successfully signing in, select “Click to Start” to begin the web event. You’ll have to wait for a servant from the Yashiro Commission to present you with a plant placed on a table.

Click on the “Cultivation and Care” button, which brings up a task whereby you need to take care of a Bonsai plant by watering, trimming and digging the soil three times. Doing each of these tasks adds one Growth point to your Bonsai plant. You can add more points throughout the web event.

Once these tasks are complete, this will boost the plant’s Growth Progress, which is visible on the right side of the screen. You are then tasked with sharing the page to gain one Growth point for which new tasks will become available from the web event’s menu.

Click on the “To-Do List” tab to view new tasks for you to complete before continuing with the event. These new “To-Do List” tasks are:

• Viewing the 2.6 update content
• Redirecting you to the official Genshin Impact TikTok account where you must follow the account

Completing them tasks unlocks new tasks, and you can refresh the “To-Do List” page for them to appear. The next set of tasks you’ll need to complete are the following:

• Head out to practise martial arts
• Ask Thoma to make tea
• Have Kamisato Ayaka bring over official documentation for reviewing

As you start each of the new tasks set out by the Yashiro Commission, a simple animation will play. You must then wait for it to end before the next animation begins. Once all tasks are completed, go back to the web event page where the flowers had bloomed on the Bonsai plant when they reached Growth Progress 90.

Genshin Impact When Flowers Bloom – Event Rewards

After reaching Growth Progress 90 by completing the tasks commissioned to you by the Yashiro Commission, click on the “Flower Growth Progress” to claim your rewards. The rewards you’ll earn after completing the web event include the following:

• Primogems x40
• Varunada Lazurite Fragment x3
• Mystic Enhancement Ore x2
• Mora x20,000

Kamisato Ayato will be available in the first phase of the Character Event Wish banners in Genshin Impact 2.6 update, “Zephyr of the Violet Garden”, launching 30th March 2022. Additionally, Ayato is receiving a Story Quest available in the update.
