What Is The Quelled Creeper In Genshin Impact?

HoYoverse announced the Cryo user, Layla, and the Dendro user, Nahida, as the newest playable characters headed to Genshin Impact. These characters are reportedly available for select playtesters during the 3.2 beta stage.

However, following the leak of Nahida’s combat kit by various dataminers, the character Ascension Material for the character was also leaked online. Here’s what we know about the Quelled Creeper Ascension Material in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact Leaks Tease New Character Ascension Material

Following HoYoverse's official unveiling of Nahida, the Lesser Lord Kusanali, several leaks have been teasing her Character Ascension materials. One such material is the Quelled Creeper which is dropped by the upcoming Normal World Boss, Dendro Hypostasis, which is reportedly similar to the Hydro Hypostasis.

Per a Tweet by Genshin Impact dataminer, hxg_diluc, the Dendro Hypostasis’ difficulty is much the same, and Travelers who’ve fought the World Boss should be familiar with its combat mechanics. While there’s been no further information about where the Dendro Hypostasis is likely to spawn, once defeated, they can acquire the Quelled Creeper as one of its rewards.

According to its leaked in-game description from the Project Amber database, the Quelled Creeper is the Dendro Hypostasis’ “final coalesced form” as its vines are utilized to protect a cube-like elemental crystal. Its shape has been long developed “over thousands of years” as a result of a process whereby the Dendro Hypostasis had used its intelligence to “learn” and “understand the colors and dreams” of the Sumeru rainforest.

In addition, the Quelled Creeper will be dropped by Level 30 and higher Dendro Hypostasis; however, it’s not confirmed how many Quelled Creepers Travelers will receive. Much like other Character Ascension Materials acquired from Hypostasis World Bosses, it will come at the cost of Original Resin; Travelers will likely receive Adventure EXP once the World Boss is defeated.

Another Genshin Impact dataminer, DevilTakoyaki, provided the materials guide for Nahida, which is subject to change. To ascend Nahida to Level 90, Travelers will have to defeat the Dendro Hypostasis as often possible until they have at least 46 pieces of Quelled Creeper in their inventory.

Likewise, Travelers will need other Character Ascension Materials, including Kalpalata Lotus, Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, and Crystalline Cyst Dust. To complete her ascension, they’ll need approximately 420,000 Mora to level Nahida to its max cap of Level 90.

The Genshin Impact 3.2 beta is currently underway, with lots of playable content available to playtesters, including the new playable characters; HoYoverse will finetune the character and her Ascension Material before launch.
