Genshin Impact Warding Stones: Locations for Seirai Stormchasers world quest

Genshin Impact 2.1 “Floating World Under the Moonlight” update is finally here. And with that, we have two new islands, namely Seirai and Watatsumi, to explore, two new playable characters, new activities, quests, puzzles, and much more. The priority for most players in the Genshin Impact community is to unlock the new boss Thunder Manifestation to get Thunder Beads for ascending the Raiden Shogun, Baal. 

While exploring the Seirai island, players will come across a quest called Seirai Stormchasers. It is a world quest, and by completing it, players can calm the thunderstorm anomaly taking place on the island. It not only gives the players more ground to explore. But, it also unlocks the Thunder Manifestation boss.

There are four sub-quests under the Seirai Stormchasers world quest. And in this guide, we will walk you through every part of the quest. 

How to get Seirai Stormchasers world quest

Players can get the Seirai Stormchasers world quest from an NPC called Eiko. Go to the above-shown teleport waypoint. There you can find Eiko. Talk to her to trigger the Seirai Stormchasers world quest.

Seirai Stormchasers Part I 

The first part of the quest is an easy one. Just follow the below steps, and you can move on to the next part. 

• Go and investigate the Warding Stone.
• Follow the cat footprints and explore up ahead.
• Explore the Shrine.
• Check on the offering box.
• Go to the village and look for materials with which to initiate repairs.
• Go to the Treasure Hoarder camp.
• Search for repair materials in the camp (0/3).
• Return to Asase Shrine and fix the offering box.
• Touch the Paper Charm hangers.

Each section of the quest is marked on your map. So you won't face any difficulty with it. 

Seirai Stormchasers Part II

In the second part of the Seirai Stormchasers world quest, players have to go to the west part of the island and seal the warding stone. 

Before sealing the warding stone, players have to touch three paper charms. Two are located near the warding stone and the last one is located on top of a rock formation located at the west-most part of the island. 

Use the above screenshot as a reference to locate the third paper charm. Once you have touched all three paper charms, go and seal the warding stone. 

At last talk to Eiko to complete the second part of the Seirai Stormchasers world quest.

You will get 30 Primogems and three Hero’s Wit for completing the second part of the Seirai Stormchasers world quest. [Yay, free Primogems]. Now we can move forward to the third part of the quest. 

Seirai Stormchasers Part III

In the third part of the Seirai Stormchasers world quest, players have to talk to Taisuke and then look for the third warding stone. 

After talking to Taisuke, you have to find the third warding stone. Just take the electro gate and it will lead you to a platform with a Thunder Sakura Bough. 

Interact with the Thunder Sakura Bough, to get an Electrogranum. Use it to ascend the mountain. 

Once again, you have to touch three paper charms and then seal the warding stone. One paper charm is right beside the warding stone. 

The remaining paper charms are found on the east and west side of the warding stone. Use Electrogranum to reach the paper charms. Once you have touched all three of them, seal the warding stone. 

Seirai Stormchasers Part IV

In the last part of the Seirai Stormchasers world quest, players continue to ascend the Amakumo mountain, or whatever is left of it. In search of the last Warding Stone. 

Continue ascending the Amakumo mountain using Electrogranum. 

Touch the paper charms and seal the last warding stone.

Once that is done, a short cutscene will play out and you will be introduced to the Thunder Manifestation boss. Defeat her, claim your rewards and ascend the mountain. 

Use Electrograna and ascend the mountain to find the Peculiar Pinion feather, the cause of the anomaly on Seirai island. You will also find two chests. 

Take the feather back to Eiko. Talk to her to complete the Seirai Stormchasers world quest. 

That’s all for now. Go ahead and farm those thunder beads for ascending Baal.
