All Genshin Impact Starlight Coalescence Locations And How To Use

Genshin Impact patch 2.8 arrived on 13th July 2022, and with it came Summertime Fantasia. As a part of the event, questlines for Xinyan, Kazuha, Fischl, and Mona have been released alongside tons of goodies to hunt and collect.

This guide will walk you through the most straightforward step-by-step information to get all seventeen limited-time event materials, Starlight Coalescence. Additionally, learn how to use the Starlight Coalescence and exchange them for rewards across the Golden Apple Archipelago.

Genshin Impact 2.8 - Starlight Coalescence Locations

After finishing Mona’s story domain in Genshin Impact, you’ll find Starlight Coalescence all over Minacious Isle. Starlight Coalescence is a star-shaped collectible item you can use to unlock certain areas or trade-in for rewards like chests.

None of these locations or steps need to be taken one after another, but some require following intensively as some areas are only unlocked by completing puzzles or mini-quests.

Starlight Coalescence #1

You can find the first Starlight Coalescence in a mural in the center-most area of the island. You might need to do a little climbing to see it, but once reached, touch the mural, and you’ll find the first Starlight Coalescence.

Starlight Coalescence #2 and #3

You need to find a book that will open up a quest. The book is located near the first Starlight Coalescence. Afterward, you’ll need to find the Sea-Salt Crusted Key in the basement behind a large pile of rocks on an isolated island and place it in a unique water platform to unlock the puzzling dungeon. Throughout the process, you’ll need to figure out puzzles. In the end, you’ll find two Starlight Coalescences.

Starlight Coalescence #4

The fourth Starlight Coalescence can be acquired during the “Thus Was The Work Done In Vain” quest. You can find it near the Precious Chest and use it by placing it on one of the contraptions, which lights open a bridge extending upwards.

Starlight Coalescence #5

Once you’ve opened up the bridge extending upwards, following it to the very top of the floating structure, you’ll find the fifth Starlight Coalescence on top of a pillar.

Starlight Coalescence #6

After reaching the peak of the pillar, you’ll find the sixth Starlight Coalescence right below you. You’ll need to glide carefully to another floating structure to get the event item.

Starlight Coalescence #7

From that high point, you’ll need to glide far east near the other mountain peak on the island. But be careful; you don’t want to glide too low as the seventh Starlight Coalescence is up in the sky, where you’ll need to capture it mid-air.

Starlight Coalescence #8

Speaking about gliding, the eighth Starlight Coalescence can be found near the shore south of the most middle part of where you found the first event item. It’s right off the cliff near the water platform, but it’s also in the air, so you’ll need to glide carefully to reach it.

Starlight Coalescence #9

The ninth Starlight Coalescence can be found at the base of the mountain located far east of the island. You’ll need to complete a puzzle which you can find at the western part of the mountain base.

Starlight Coalescence #10

After completing the puzzle and finding the ninth Starlight Coalescence, Travelers can find the next event item on the same mountain at the edge of the southwest side of the peak.

Starlight Coalescence #11

The eleventh Starlight Coalescence can be found under the cliff on the western part of the island. There should be a large opening spreading from one side to another, and you’ll find the event item in the middle of some Hilichurls and Slimes.

Starlight Coalescence #12

Over at the far east mountain of the island, you’ll find the twelfth Starlight Coalescence under a large pile of rocks. You might need to use your Elemental Sight to locate the rubble at the southern part of the mountain base.

Starlight Coalescence #13, #14, and #15

Three Starlight Coalescences are found near the middle area of Minacious Isle, where you found the very first star. You’ll need to solve an Elemental Monument puzzle before a portal opens up, teleporting you above where you’ll find a Precious Chest and three Starlight Coalescences.

Starlight Coalescence #16

The sixteenth Starlight Coalescence is found inside a cavern with a few Hilichurls located on the island's northern side near the middle area.

Starlight Coalescence #17

If you make your way to the middle area again and climb up high enough, you’ll be able to glide near the western side of the structure and find the seventeenth Starlight Coalescence under a hanging destroyed bridge.

Starlight Coalescence #18

You’ll find the last Starlight Coalescence acquired by placing some of the stars you already have in the gadget, which made the bridge extend into the sky when finding the fourth event item. By doing this, you’ll unlock a Luxurious Chest and extend the bridge even further, to which you’ll be teleported after following it, to the highest point across the Minacious Isle and find the eighteenth Starlight Coalescence and another Luxurious Chest.

Throughout your series of hunting Starlight Coalescences, you'll be able to use them to unlock areas and Chests across the Minacious Isle.
