Genshin Impact: How to get and use Wind Catcher

Wind Catcher is a gadget in Genshin Impact that can be used to create an upward wind current anywhere in the game. It can be helpful in flying to high places, grabbing Anemoculi or Geoculi and more. 

Players will need a gliding license to use this gadget, and there will be a 100 second cooldown after every single use. In addition to this, it cannot be used in combat. If you want to get and use a Wind Catcher, here's how you can do it.

How to get Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact

In order to get Wind Catcher, players will first have to reach Reputation in Mondstadt level 3, and after that, the Diagram: Wind Catcher blueprint will get unlocked.

You can increase the Reputation in Mondstalt level by completing weekly bounties and requests obtained by speaking with Hertha in the North of Mondstadt.

You will then go to blacksmith with the Diagram: Wind Catcher that you can find in the inventory and the following materials to craft Wind Catcher:

• 10 Hurricane Seeds
• 30 Windwheel Aster
• 50 Crystal Chunks

Obtain the Wind Catcher in your inventory after it's crafted successfully. 

How to use Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact

After you have crafted Wind Catcher, you will have to find it in your inventory and equip it. After that start, you will have to get it charged by collecting Aneograna that will be stored in it. 

After you have charged it, you will have to go to the desired place where you want a wind current and then press the allotted key to activate it. 

An upward wind current will be created, and you can start gliding but don't wait for it since the current will disappear after a few seconds.
