How to Destroy the Barrier and complete the Sacrificial Offering World Quest

As the 2.0 update of Genshin Impact is now available worldwide, lots of new quests and challenges have been added all around the Inazuma region, in which you as the Traveller can learn more about its rich history while collecting nice rewards on the road.

One of these is a series of World Quests known as the “Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual”, which require a lot of effort and time from your part, as these involve you doing a lot of things in the right order, so let’s guide you to finish the second of these quests called “Sacrificial Offering".

Sacrificial Offering World Quest

Before you start this quest, you must complete the World Quest named “A Strange Story in Konda”, since it will allow you to access an abandoned shrine located northeast of the Konda Village.

To kick off this quest, you will have to go to the abandoned shrine. Once here, you will have to look for the three Mysterious Shadows, two of them will be at the entrance, while the last one will be hidden on the roof of a building nearby.

After this, the Mysterious Shadows will teleport to three locations around, appearing close to some Electro-charged fox statues. You will have to interact with these until they are all gathered in the same spot with the statue located in the middle of the marked area.

Once you do this and gather all Mysterious Shadows at the marked location, three chests will appear and you will be headed towards the Grand Narukami Shrine at Mt. Yougou, where you will need to speak to Inagi Hotomi, the shrine maiden near the Sakura tree, in order to obtain the Memento Lens.

This lens can be used on the Electro-charged statues to discover things not visible before. With this, you will go back to the shrine, equip the lens, and use them to scan the small fox statues.

By scanning them, you will receive a series of answers you have to put in order on the fox statue at the centre of the abandoned shrine. Just in case, the order will be as follows:

1. In the name of Narukami's envoy
2. And of the Hakushin bloodline
3. Bring forth the fried tofu

After saying these words in order, you will break the magical seal and receive the ward, which you have to take with you, head to the Red Tori and climb the wall on the right that is blocked by an Electro barrier.

Here, you will use the ward to activate a puzzle in which you have to interact with four totems with Electro symbols. The ward you activated will have a single symbol, the totem in the centre of the Tori must have a dual symbol, and the other three totems should have the tri symbol of the Electro Archon.

Once you finish the puzzle, you will have to battle against a Mysterious Samurai with fire-related attacks and rapid, sudden moves. Be aware of its combat style and approach it only in the right moments, while also using some Elemental reactions using the water below you.

And that’s all, with the fight done the quest will be completed. However, a bigger challenge will be coming as Kazari will appear to you once again to give you the Cleansing Defilement quest, thus activating the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual.
