Genshin Impact Baal character: Ascension materials required and how to get them

The Genshin Impact Inazuma update introduced players to a whole new region and set of characters like Raiden Shogun, aka Baal, Kokomi, Kujou Sara, Thoma, and others who will release as playable characters with the version 2.1 and beyond update. 

Similar to last time, miHoYo has gone ahead and officially revealed the playable characters coming with the version 2.1 update. Among the many new characters coming with the next major update, we have the Electro Archon Baal joining the playable characters roster. 

In the wake of that, now is the right time to start farming the ascension materials for Baal. Thanks to the resin system and a few other game mechanics, players cannot collect the materials required to max out a playable character in one or two days. So farming character ascension materials ahead of the character’s release is a good tactic that many players follow. 

With that being said, here are the ascension materials you need to max out Baal. 

Baal ascension materials and where to get them 

Materials like the Tenkumo Fruit and Storm Beads are not yet available in the game. However, apart from that, players can farm every other item needed to ascend Baal to max level.

How to get Vajrada Amethyst Sliver, Fragment, Chunk, and Gemstone

Players can get the Vajrada Amethyst Sliver and its higher variants from the Electro Hypostasis boss. World bosses like Childe and Stormterror also drop the different variants of Vajrada Amethyst. If these are not enough sources to get the item, you can also buy them from the souvenir shop. 

How to get Old, Kageuchi, and Famed handguard 

The new enemies called Nobushis found in the Inazuma region drop the old handguard and its higher variants.

How to get Mora 

Here are some of the ways by which you get Mora in Genshin Impact. 

• Farm Blossom of Wealth. 
• Complete missions. 
• Complete events.
• Complete commissions. 
• Buy from Paimon's Bargain shop. 
• Buy from the souvenir shop, etc.
